Not sure why but I've not really been following it this season yet.

Been some surprising results when I see the final scores. What's going on with Real Madrid for starters?!

Great to see Caoimhin (Kwee-veen) Kelleher doing well for the Pool last night. It's understandable that he's not started for the national side yet given he's barely played but the talk of his promise has been there for awhile now. With him and Gavin Bazunu the national side could be set for awhile at the GK position.

The finish to Group B would be amazing if it stayed as it is. I'll certainly be backing a penalty to be awarded in the RM Vs M'gladbach game . . .

Kelleher was excellent last night and really impressed with distribution

Given Adrian contract up in summer he could well cement number 2 spot now :ok:

Utd could easily lose to PSG and Leip and go out - lot of ifs there though

RM group is bonkers - brown paper bag for a draw in thier game!

I watched Juventus vs Porto last night, thought it'd be an entertaining game to watch and was convinced Pepe would get carded at some point! It certainly was an eventful game, with Porto having their striker sent off after an hour for kicking the ball away and getting a second booking as a result. I thought Juventus would then go on to win the game with ease but although Chiesa put them ahead, they couldn't find a way through.

Unbelievably, Porto scored from a free-kick in extra time to win on away goals. If you watch the wall, they turned sideways/ducked and allowed it to go through them. Have only themselves to blame!

Was a brilliant game! Fair play to Porto!

The CR7 winning JUve the CL not quite working out as hoped yet - be interesting if they will stick with long term plan with Pirlo at the helm

Serves them right after letting Sarri go last season after winning the league.

Definitely not! That third goal was shambolic defending.

Anyone see Seferovic's miss against Barca? Oops!

Shocker that

Barca look doomed for qualification anyway unless they beat Bayern away

Surely he saw Choupo-Moting's miss against Strasbourg 2 years ago?! That's 10 times worse - he basically stops the ball going in

Same format - loads of teams play each other and then Real Madrid win.

Champions League group-stage draw in full
Group A: Ajax, Liverpool, Napoli, Rangers.
Group B: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Club Brugge.
Group C: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan, V Plzen.
Group D: Frankfurt, Tottenham, Sporting, Marseille.
Group E: AC Milan, Chelsea, Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb.
Group F: Real Madrid, Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk, Celtic.
Group G: Man City, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Copenhagen.
Group H: PSG, Juventus, Benfica, Maccabi Haifa.

Fortunate draw for Tottenham there! Liverpool and Rangers have never met in Europe before apparently!

Amazing how sport always throws these stories up, huh? Lewandowski back to Munich, Haaland back to Dortmund, Di Maria back to PSG. You can't make it up - or if you did it would be accused of being a hacky script!

And Bassey back to Rangers. Hope our add ons don’t depend on Ajax getting through their CL group - because we’re gonna knock them out. 🤣

Oh… and bonus point… Ben Davies might actually get to play a game at Anfield.

Mixed group for us

Spurs with a dream group, City's is interesting but 4th pot team has made it easier, Chelsea's doesn't look too taxing either

Barca/Bayern/Inter and Pilzen mad fans is group of death

Group B looks interesting and Group F should be a good battle for 2nd

Tough for Benfica in last group
