After the Group Phase a lot of us got in these akward 'Brazil&France'-phase all boys go through once in their lives. CMCZ swapped Argentina for France. Alias swapped Germany for Brazil. Bruebous left Denmark for Spain. Steve decided to go for an entire other final; England-Spain, bold choice yet again 0 points.

Before the quarter final Kevin & Redknapp made a move which might be crucial in this competition. They left France for Portugal! Dermotron and Here2Win were still going for their dream final they have been predicting since the start. Bruebous was unlucky again and switched from Spain to Portugal. At last Steve swapped Spain for Brazil, yet still 0 points. So unlucky! Closer to the end less points were scored as before the Cup. But we were close before the elimination of many favorites as Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal and England were all defeated in this Round. Dermotron was now back in the Top 3 and at the end of the ranking Here2Win left Steve behind him.

Before the Semi-Finals started the majority of the Fellowship found eachother and agreed Argentina and France would make it to the final. But Kevin went Chiaotzu at the Pool...



It was a bold move and a gamble, but it didn't work out for him to predict Croatia and Morocco in the final. Also the Brueb did think the Moroccans would do it, not knowing it was the last of the Moroccians.

The ring was feeling heavy at his finger. The King of the Pool felt the Dermotrollum was spying at him, getting stronger and stronger, feeding himself with raw fishes, dressed only in an Argentina-flagg. Surely he would try do a last attempt to get the ring from him. He looked at the body of the dead Kevin. Gladfully he could avoid his kamikaze-attack. He looked at Kevins hand which missed 2 fingers. Kevin had the ring for so long, but succumbed under his power. Would Kevins fate also be his fate? He looked up and looked at the remaining members of the Fellowship. Did Redknapp give him just a dirty look? Would he come for his Ring? Or was his paranoia messing with his head once again? It was hard to trust anyone at this point. He looked up to the road. Mordor was close. He had to go on, because the wise thing was to destroy the Ring. Could he do it before Redknapp or the Dermotrollum would come for his ring? The King sighed. He was close to his goal and ready to leave this Fellowship for once and for all. Just a few metres left!

For long it was a race between Messi and Mbappé and in the end Mbappé was the one who won. Good news for especially Redknapp, Here2Win and Kevin who all had Mbappé in 2nd position. Dermotorn also got 8 points, but he was not as happy as he had Messi as his number 1!

Ok I have looked back to see what we did out there. Let's start at the bottom of the list; The Brueb!

Bruebous did think Brazil would win for the first 3 rounds. (And he is not the only one as we will see...) After this round he did believe Morocco would be the surprise. At last finally he tought he was right! Buuuut France didn't do it and so The Brueb ends with the 95 points he already has..

He was very unlucky with his predictions after a very strong start. Football didn't come (nice to type this ) and therefore Steve was no lucky predicting the World Champion. Before the Cup started he tought Brazil would become the Champion, but after the group phase he was convinced England would do it for 2 rounds. After the defeat of England he moved to France! So also 0 points for mr. Urkel.

Nikosgeo was at the top position at a certain point in the Pool, but later in the game he was less lucky. His winner was Brazil for the first 3 rounds. After the quarter final he moved to Argentina! So the first one with some points. He predicted Argentina twice as the winner and therefore got 7 bonus points. Unfortunately it was not enough to get away from the 7th position.

If France had won t he final we would have a very surprings end result of the Pool! Because both Alias and Here2Win had France the entire tournament they predicted France as the Champion and if France would have won the Cup they both would have won the Pool! But if doesn't count. They ended toghether in the 5th positon.

Kamikaze Kev has been the ring bearer for so long. Forever when we reads his posts we will hear Frodo's voice and Frodo's face with it. He swapped the most in his choices for World Champion as he started with Brazil, then France, then again Brazil and ended with Morocco. After his kamikaze round in the semi-final he didn't return for the final. But that's ok, because it's hard to come back after a kamikaze attack as you are considered dead anyway!

And so we only got the Top 3 left! Redknapp is 2 points ahead of Dermotron and CMCZ. But unfortunately CMCZ also has made some mistakes during this game. Altough he was the number 1 after the final the bonus question will be fatal to him. 3 times Brazil and 2 times France equals 0 points.

So in the end it was a battle between Redknapp and Dermotron. Redknapp did have 2 more points before answering the last bonus questions. But for the World Champion he didn't get any point as he also predicted 3 times Brazil and 2 times France.

The Fellowship had worked hard to get to Mordor, but the quest had taken many of them. Kevin had done a kamikaze attack. Bruebous was lost a very long time ago. SteveHarle had returned home (without football ), Nikos was still fighting a Balrog somewhere and altough Alias and Here2Win had a last heroic fight, they lost in the last minutes in a penalty shoot out with some orcs. One orc was seen with an golden hand for his dick to celebrate this. CMCZ had fought hard but they did keep coming for his ring, so he had no chance to give the ring to Redknapp. Redknapp had walked into Mount Doom, ready to destroy the ring forever. But hadn't he forgot about something?



Redknapp felt and his head splashed into pieces at the rocks. He was dead The Dermotrollum did managed to grap a ledge of a rock. He climbed up. CMCZ looked at him.



'Yes!!!!' The Dermotrollum said. 'I have predicted Argentina 4 times as the winner and therefore I did get 27 points!! And now I have it. I finally have it!! My Prrrrrrrrrecious!!!' CMCZ looked to the creature. It was awful, the world was lost forever. The ring didn't get destroyed, but there was nothing left to do to get to him and congratulate him with the title. Dermotron was truly the winner of the ring, the best predicter and the Winner of the Pool! The Dermotrollum looked at him and then started to dance once again his signature dance!
