Wow they've added a new update! I might have to revisit this game. I didn't give it enough of a go the first time around, and it definitely deserves it. Mad that it never came out of Early Access though!
They've been releasing small updates every few weeks for the last few months, all building up to a re-worked multiplayer and the city of Louisville - and it's massive.

Nice, that is huge! That is proper dedication. Looks like this is what is going to keep me busy over Christmas! Although always single player for me on games like this - too much stress otherwise!

Pretty impressive, 8 years after initial launch! Still yet to find time to play it with the new release of the Starter Kit, but I think I have most of tomorrow free :D

Recently I was playing Diablo 2 Resurrected, the game atmosphere inside is really scary, and the battle is also very exciting, a little addicted

just playd FM22 earlier for the first time (sine any fm post fm18) and the interface, constant news pop ups and clicking of info inbetween games still triggers the **** out of me! anyone else played it and what your impressions ?

I like some of the preset tactical strategies in terms of counter press and gegenpress without having to set them yourself but other than that more unneeded clunky bs been added and just feels even less immersive and overpolished compared to the older cm games.

Took me over an hour just to play 3 games and didn't even look for players or set anything in terms of training, coaches etc it was all mainly just clicking through junk that pops up non stop on it and all of it just feels like empty interface crap that doesn't even effect the core dynamics of the game.

Recently I decided to play Horizon Forbidden West. To say that I am hyped for this game is an understatement. So glad Sony has chosen the single player blockbuster path.

My personal choice is always single player. I don`t like online gaming because of many cheaters. Had the problem when playing online chess and Age of Empires II many times. 12 years old cheater kids everywhere...

Nowadays most of online games are not fair. If you buy (with real money) upgrades to your played character in the game, you can play better than others. Rich "gamers" are better than the poor :!:

Back to topic:
Playstation: The Last of Us and Uncharted games are incredible beautiful. Both gameplay and graphics.

Here are my PC favorites from the past:
1- Project IGI
2- Counter Strike 1.5
3- Diablo + Hellfire (classic)
4- Age of Empires 2
5- Mount & Blade: Warband
6- IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946

But as you get older, some games start to feel too complicated  Thats why I am stuck with my all-time favorite CM01/02 since 2001 and GNU Backgammon.

Not sure if anyone with a PlayStation has partaken of their new PS Plus tiered system, I'm sure you know of it by now if you have a PS as it has been out a few weeks, it has a basic level and then two tiered levels above that that cost more but give you some extra benefits...

Anyway, I'm a sucker(!) and bought up to the mid-tier from the basic level. Cost me about £30 and will see me through until August 2023 when I'll have to pay again...maybe.

One of the motivating factors to me was this little gem that I have had my eye on for what seems like years...

Seemed like it would be good fun and having downloaded it immediately upon release and given it several hours a day everyday since I can tell you that it is indeed fun! It's free if you have the mid (Extra) or upper (Premium) tier and is well worth a go. It's a quirky platformer with a few puzzle elements (nothing too taxing). Definitely a different kind of game than shooting people or getting mauled by teenagers at online footy games! Would be great for kids too or if you have a wife/GF that doesn't mind the occasional casual game.

Downside is that it is pretty short, the Devs have said the main game is about 8 hours long, which seems pretty spot on from my experience. Although if you are a completionist/trophy hunter there is a speed run trophy also to finish the game in under 2 hours and one quite difficult trophy also.

If you don't have either of the PS tiers to get it free it's retailing at £24.99. Now...I wouldn't pay it myself, despite being a fun, different, quirky game that is female & child friendly it is short as mentioned and for that reason I wouldn't spend £25 on it. However it is one to keep an eye out on in the sales in the future going forward. You will like it, kids will like it, perhaps even the missus will like it...

Have been laid up with a slipped disc lately so dusted off the Nintendo Switch and started playing FM22 Touch.

About an hour later had downloaded something else and now glued to Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (never played 1st time around).

There's just too much going on in FM that you can do, I get making it so in depth and realistic and it will appeal to a lot but it's not for me. I try FM now and again if I'm inbetween Champ Man saves but it will never compare. The news items and social media following stuff got me as don't do social media and I'm not really fussed what the odds are for who's winning the golden boot etc 😮

Will immerse myself in Zelda and CM until the much anticipated Breath of the Wild sequel comes out in May next year :)
