your Asst. man. loves brown envelopes, I paid him off well :)
thanks for the update, a very good start from my Burnley Bandits, undefeated in 7 games.
Leeds 1-1 - some poor performances, a bit lucky to come away with a point.
Sunderland 0-2 - Very good win, should of been more only for MOTM Macho in goals.
Liverpool 1-0 Great win for our 1st home game, should of been a few more if Angel had his lucky boots on.
Man Utd 2-2 Superb comeback from 2-0 down, Graham Poll saved us with a dubious penalty, just about deserved a point.
Cambridge 4-0 (League Cup) Superb performance against the D2 relegation battlers, denying them any shots and a match ball for Angel.
Charlton 2-1 Good win but a bit too close for comfort, another good performance from the oppo GK kept it tight.
WBA 0-1 Again a misfiring attack and good GK opponent kept the score down, glad to get 3 points.
Overall I'm very happy with being 6th in the Premiership, bit disappointed in Southgate, however he seems to get subbed early a lot from the Asst. man.
Angel could score a few more, gonna give Lopez a run out for next month.

Decent start for my Man Utd team, despite the fans' protest at my handling of the club in early September!

Watford 0-2 Man Utd: Well deserved win, Stanic with a stunner and a tap-in for Olivera, before we went defensive and closed it out.

Man Utd 3-0 Ipswich: Another routine win - Joao Pinto was the inspiration and got a goal, along with Viduka and the captain, Rio Ferdinand.

West Ham 1-3 Man Utd: We complete the perfect August. Olivera and Stanic scored fine efforts, Joe Cole pulled one back and then Lassissi sealed the win with a 90th minute header.

Southampton 2-0 Man Utd: A tight game we were unlucky to lose to Southampton and their Brazilians. A late red card for Lassissi was not ideal, nor were the performances of Ferdinand or Bouma. This led the the fan protest!

Man Utd 2-2 Burnley: Goals from Viduka and Gomez put us 2-0 up, but Burnley fight back late on. I am questioning Jimmy Ryan's decision to go defensive at 2-0!

Man Utd 6-0 Bolton (League Cup): Routine win in the cup with a hattrick for Viduka!

Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd: Arsenal dominated, but Joao Pinto came off the bench to give us the lead, before Okoronkwo equalised. Bouma hit the post in the 90th minute to leave us cursing our luck!

Man Utd 2-1 Leeds: Delighted to get back to winning ways in the league. Brett Emerton scored a goal of the season contender, beating 4 men on his way to a magnificent goal!

October looks tough, but mostly home games - let's see if we can move up the table!

Very impressive starts for Chelsea and Newcastle...WTG guys!

Not unhappy with our start but we're not at our best yet. Downloading the save as we speak.

Ugh, sticky start for the Leeds boys, drawing with Burnley and losing to United has us off the pace already!

Perfect start in the Champers though (after losing the Super Cup to Spectral's Chelsea :()

Scoring enough to give me hope that we'll be climbing up the table soon enough.

Nice one Spectral!

Cheers for the update Spectral, another fine month for the Burnley Bludgers.

Arsenal 2-1 14 shots on goal and we leave it to the Defenders to score both, good 3 points though.
M'Boro 3-1 Another avalanche of shots and a great hat-trick from Pjanovic.
Birmingham 0-2 Pjanovic on target again and a Barry Ferguson dribble sealed the 3 points.
Newcastle 0-1 such a close game vs London35 unlucky not to take a point in a game of few chances as we tasted our 1st defeat of the season.
Fulham 3-0 (League Cup)A Bolo masterclass in a very one-sided game, Pjanovic on target again, scoring his 5th goal of the month.

Overall flying high 4th in the Premier League I can't complain at that with the squad I have, 2 tough games to come next vs AJ and bsup68, hoping to carry on the good start we've had.

Yikes, another rough month (by our lofty standards) leaves Leeds languishing in 10th. A couple of games in hand over most, important that we win them and drag ourselves into contention.

Highlight: 6-1 trouncing of Valencia in the CL.
Lowlight: dropping 5 more PL points :(

Solid month in October for Man Utd; routine wins over Leicester and Sunderland, followed by a tight 2-1 win at home against Liverpool. We lost 3-0 to Chelsea but came back well to beat Man City in the League Cup.

Our November fixtures look favourable until we go to White Hart Lane in the last league game, so hoping for a good points return plus to progress in the League Cup.

I wonder why Inzaghi was on the bench (and not even brought on) for the big Manchester United match when he was the leagues top goal scorer with 10 goals?

just got back from the memorial for your motherboard :( may it rest in silicon heaven

Blackburn 0-3 Selakovic sent off after 4 mins for a push!! all downhill from there, the victim Vieri nets 2 goals, footage has emerged of AJ and Mike Reed getting cosy in the local Hooters.
Everton 2-1 A good fightback from 1-0 down at Goodison, goals from Bazza Ferg and super-sub Angel sealed the 3 points.
Wimbledon 4-1 (League Cup) Good performance to set up a tricky tie away at London35' Newcastle in the Quarter Final, having bet on the Toon to win the trophy, its a win-win match.
Watford 2-0 Comprehensive victory, perfect 10 for Bazza, should of been a few more goals.
Leicester 3-0 A well earned 3 points at Filbert St, keeps us in with a shout of European football.

Overall still 5th in the Premier League, very happy with the Burnley boys getting 12 points out of 15, thanks Spectral.

2-0 Victory over Sunderland
2-0 Victory over Notts Co in the leauge cup
0-3 Loss to Burnley - Loosing to a 4-1-4-1 tactic, not funny
5-1 Victory over WBA
6-0 Victory over Olympiakos in the UEFA Cup - 6 Goals in first half, Ass Man subs my captain in th3 47th min. no more goals :(
0-1 Loss to Charlton
3-0 Win over Bradford in the Leauge cup
1-0 Win over Man Utd in what seems to a bit of a boring match, when looking at the stats

6th place so far for Tottenham with top 5 opening up a bit of a gap.

Man Utd:

Man Utd 2-0 Charlton
Man Utd 3-0 WBA
Man Utd 2-1 Middlesbrough
Man Utd 3-0 Ipswich (League Cup)
Man Utd 3-0 Birmingham
Man Utd 0-1 Spurs

Great results right up until the dull game at Spurs! Anyone know how to stop my ass man from going 'defensive' and 'men behind ball' for away games?! :x

Olivera, Ambrosini and Viduka were the star performers, hope Viduka can recover froma small injury in time for our first game next month!

Progress in the CL for Leeds (and won our first game of the second group phase), but still patchy in the league - W2 D2 L1 - all but one against AI :( so we're still in 9th, with the 'if we win our games in hand...' hope wearing thin.

Lost in the League Cup (to London35's Newcastle), but not going to be losing sleep over that.

Southampton 3-0 Clean sheet for the debutant Dei, goal and MOTM for Unsworth, fine goal for Antchouet on debut and another goal for big bad Bazza :)
London35' Newcastle 3-1 (Lge Cup Q-F) Howay the lads, a brace from Bazza and a worldie free-kick from Nobby clinched a fine away win, scoreline flattered us as chances were pretty even.
Ipswich 4-1 Feed the Ant and he will score, nice double from him and Bazzamania running wild on you.
West Ham 1-1 Call the police, an absolute mugging at Turf Moor in the 90th minute, 2 points dropped in the hunt for 4th :(
riise' Leeds 0-2 2nd home defeat of the season, more shots for us but clinical finishing from Leeds, 2 goals from 2 shots, 9 yellow cards in a fiery game
Sunderland 4-0 Hat-trick from the Ant and another goal and perfect 10 from Bazza sealed an easy rout.

Would of swapped the Toon result for 3 points against dirty Leeds, but again another very decent month 10 points out of 15.
Can anybody stop the mighty Chelsea and Spectrals manager of the months??
thanks for the screenshots Spectral.

That Tottenham squad and the lack of stable results... i'm getting more gray hair every week.

1-1 draw away to Spectrals Chelsea and then a home loss to Blackburn, the inconsistens results almost makes it look like this seasons Tottenham :(

I wonder if I gotta switch to one of those narrow tactics, even though i'm loosing positions to more normal and wide tactics too :?

Hmmm my experiment of putting Ronaldo in centre mid doesn't seem to have been successful... so much so that my assistant appears to have abandoned it midway through the month

But it went pretty well results-wise, only defeat was to Chelsea, which is sort of expected at this point. Looks like we were unlucky to lose 1-0 with 10 men, but we didn't deserve anything from the game in truth!

Still stuck in 7th, not out of the race for 4th yet though.
