AI tactics

Hi, I was wondering is there any way to convert AI tactics to .tct so I can use them?
Would be fun trying to use them to win league.

Open cm0102ed.exe
Go to Tools
Go to Options
Go to Special and tick Preset Tactics

In a new game, in the Tactics screen where you would normally load a tactic you will see an option to Load Preset. Load them and then save them and they will be .tct files

Hi guys!

The same question but in opposite way. I like when game is really hard so how can I change tactics which AI are using? By the way what kind of tactics are most difficult to play against? Those in November 2020 Update?

The tactics with November update are really basic (low zonal marking numbers)

Any AI Tactic pack here will make the game a lot tougher https://www.champman0102.net/viewforum.php?f=84

Exactly as I said, download whichever AI pack you want to use, then copy and paste them into the 'Data' folder of your CM directory, overwriting the existing AI tactics in there.

Oh there is a tool for that but I can't remember what it is. Derm will no doubt know better than me!

And which pack you recommend, which one is the strongest to play against?

Create and save a tactic
Download and install HxD https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/
Open the new tactic in HxD
Make this change
Image
Save as .pct and then move to data folder
In the example above the formation is 451 so make sure to replace at least one (if not all) of the variations of 451 (451_default, 451_defensive or 451_norway)
Now the AI will use this formation in game

Hi, the 'preset tactics' option is greyed out in my editor, so I'm not able to select it (all of the options listed there are greyed out). Any idea why?

I don't I'm afraid. Maybe make sure you have Run As Administrator ticked on the Properties of cm0102ed.exe
