Not really no, sometimes if you keep offering them contracts at the point they will retire, they accept and don't retire.

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this:

I am trying to play CM3 on my macbook, and (unless I'm missing something) the only way I can do it is via Playonmac.

However, I've downloaded the game from so many different links, and every time I try to create a virtual drive I get an error message:

c3.04e.Langlib..cpp 337

Then, another error message:

v3.04e game_config..cpp 72

Finally I'm informed that Wine has crashed.

Does anyone on here have any experience of getting CM3 working on a mac? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I've had the same issue with 99/00, though 01/02 has been successful through this method.

I have this issue as well sometimes but it seems random, sometimes it won't save saying there is not enough space on Drive D: when that is not the main drive (Its a recovery drive) and the laptop has nearly a 500gb of space!

A few things I've noticed that can help....

Try freeing up some disk space if you haven't already. Move your back up saves to a separate usb memory stick.
Run task manager and see how much disk space memory is getting used as your anti virus could be the cause of this.
Play the game with the internet switched off on start up of your laptop.
Run as administrator and compatibility mode win xp.

Hi folks

I've been playing the good ole CM3 ( Nick's patched version with the original 3.02db on the patch) using exagear on my android phone I was curious as to how you convert the tactics that are for cm0102 to cm3? Can they all be converted and the work involved. I know they download as .tct files but some of the cm0102 are different file size and don't show up in the tactics folder of CM3 when you copy them across πŸ˜€

Cheers

I converted them manually screen by screen on wib/wob, as they are different type of filed and have less player instructions.

Can upload my folder at some point. 262MMJ works very well on cm3/9900.

That's brill ! πŸ˜€ I tried to swap some over but I noticed that some of the tactics for cm0102 the player positions overlap (IE two CM's 7 and 8 in the one position ) and I didn't know how to replicate that in CM3 formations screen !

Oh no idea about that, I don't like it tbh players overlapping on overview is an instant floppy for me.

So this is what I was curious about folks,( apologies as I'm still finding my feet with the posting )πŸ˜‚, on the cm0102 tactic 2-1-4-2-1.tct it has the 2 players in CM basically sitting on top of each other. I was unsure if you can replicate than in CM3, I couldn't get the 2 positions to sit on top of each other πŸ€”.

That's done on the wib/wob screens not on the overview screen.

If you opened cm3 and 0102 and went through copying the wib/wob exactly it is very likely the same players would be getting intimate again.
