The last one was with the old exe, so without Switzerland and Austria (and Greece?) that davdav added (see page 68, third post), they should be added, because for some reason only the champions of Switzerland show and not the second placed team (while they are present in what davdav posted).

Also saw that Belgian Cup 1984 needs 'Standard Liège' as finalist (now it's empty because history file contains wrong short name 'Standard'). Léopold Club and Elewijt need creating to fill gaps in Belgian First and Second division. Losing finalist 'Rostock' is missing in FDGB Pokal 1967 (FDGB Pokal is not present in latest version of history file that I have). Thanks!

Added the two Belgian clubs mentioned, fixed 1984 Belgian Cup.
History file is also enclosed in the rar.

East German players are added and adjusted as requested, except Heidler retired in 1982 so is just in as a non-player.
Added 50 South Korean players.

V265: https://www.mediafire.com/file/zme9jrml ... 5.zip/file

Checks- Lothar Hause has 9 caps 1 goal
Config file has 209 lines.
Piyapong Pue-On is at Lucky Goldstar.
Usual managers, England Bingham etc at correct countries.

I don't have the latest .exe, so if someone could just load a game and double check it runs that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, just trying to pad out nations that's why was adding him along with others so have frees to sign.

Will create him tomorrow when back home with a instant retirement for regen.

All the nations need padding with kids and frees as can't just have the players at clubs.

It's not enough and becomes evident in holiday saves in future years.

Most of the E.German players I added were set to retire straight away. Is that what helps to keep a good flow of regens entering the game?

Some history for the Koreans-

Indeed, all players set to retire 15/7/84 retire on first continue game and all appear as regens season 1.

Some of them were still playing season 84/85 and I will go back and add their club histories as easy as were internationals.

I set the retirement date for a few of them as 1/9/84, so maybe that could be adjusted to 15/7/84 then. Thanks for the learning :)

How many players per nation do you think we need, Cam? How many are there in your 93 game (and is that sufficient)?

Working on the history file, gonna fill and fix all the gaps and wrong entries and short names, will take me a while, but hope to post it this weekend and then we have a definitive history file.

I'm having another minor go on the DB, noticed that Albania U21s qualified (ahead of W Germany!) for European U21s in 1984, so want to give them some abilities rather than all having PA of 60.

V265A- https://www.mediafire.com/file/g53tetrj ... A.zip/file

Added a few extra Albanians as well as increasing PA for some internationals from 20 to a more reasonable 80-100 ;)

Checks Lothar Hause has 9 caps 1 goal
Config file has 212 lines.
Piyapong Pue-On is at Lucky Goldstar.
Usual managers, England Bingham etc at correct countries.

93 was backdated from cm3 and had the 16 nations and over 40k players. We have over 20 nations and 25k players so we are miles off but having started from scratch and not backdated where we are in under 6 months is quite incredible so I salute us all.

It is still very playable from my tests but nations such as Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Turkey need some serious amount of players added.

I am rubbish with short names so hoping someone more skilled than me can do some mass excel inserts with stubs.

From a purely selfish point of view Scotland is amazing and has more than enough players. England also is all fine and dandy but could do with kids and journeymen to pad out.

Yeah, some mass insertion with stubs would be perfect to fill those gaps, because indeed, even the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid have half empty teams after 7-8 years. Hope somebody with the skills can do this. Would be happy to help with the names, can easily make up a few hundred (or thousands? how much do we need?) Spanish or Portuguese names :D . Are there other nations apart Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Turkey where you think it's necessary? A lot seem covered to me.

While kevinkeegansmullet does Asia, I will dive further into Africa, like I did with Ghana players I posted. The big nations like Ivory Coast or Senegal need at least 50 players. (Do we have any idea how many players African or Asian nations had in the original game?).

It already is, here is a more up to date one and will update OP again.

V265D: Taking DB

Checks Lothar Hause has 9 caps 1 goal
Config file has 215 lines.
Piyapong Pue-On is at Lucky Goldstar.
Usual managers, England Bingham etc at correct countries.

Added those East German player histories & South Korean (had to change format to 10.5.1955 from 10.05.1955) ones provided.

Edit: Noticed Di Matteo's config was gubbed so fixed that.

Added Twente legend Epi Drost with instant retiral for club history & quality regen (retired end 82/83)

Did these -

Can anyone mass insert with excel? And if so, in what format would the excel lines need to be? As already said, I'd be happy to provide some excels with tons of fake players with realistic names for their nation.

And some minor Belgian things, had a look at the stadiums:

Jos Verhaegen (1931): chairman Germinal Ekeren
Veltwijckpark, 6.000 capacity, stadium of Germinal Ekeren
De Noordlaan, capacity 18.000, stadium of Winterslag
Puyenbekestadion, capacity 5.962, stadium of Sint-Niklaas
Regenboogstadium, upgrade capacity to 20.000 and home of Waregem, not of Zultse
Olympisch Stadion (Kiel) is stadium of Beerschot, not of Germinal Ekeren
Karl-Heinz (mind the hyphen) Riedle

I'm happy to do inserts with excel. I'm set up some scripts for adapting various formats into the correct one for inserting with transfer tool, so it doesn't need to be all in the finalised format if that is a pain.

Column titles for finalised excel file are as follows: First name,Second name,Common name,DOB,Nation1,Nation2,Contract start, Contract end, Value,Club, On loan from,GK,SW,D,DM,M,AM,ST,WB,FR,Right,Left,Center,Right Foot,Left Foot,Int Caps,Int Goals,Current Ability,Potential Ability,Home Reputation,Current Reputation,Squad no.
Values for all positions (GK,SW,D,DM,M,AM,ST,WB,FR) should be in the range 0-20 where 0 is random, same with the side (Right,Left,Center). CA and PA can be 0-200, and PA can also be -1 or -2. 0 is random, 1 is terrible, 200 is best in world, -1 is random but normally 100-140 PA and -2 is a future superstar.

Alternatively, if you just want to do First Name, Second Name, DOB, Nation 1, Club, Position (e.g. Goalkeeper, Defender), Side, Current Ability, Potential Ability (last 2 optional) then I can pretty much convert that instantly. Those are the most important ones for real players in my opinion if you want to do mass inserts. Of course, you can then edit them as much as you wish in the editor to add individual skills.

I'm crap with macros or scripts, probably why takes me so long but still quicker than editor for mass inserting hundreds or thosands, well i managed a thousand once.

This is the excel you just plod away like it is editor, i just put positions in then copy paste job, same with abilities i leave to end of doing a club then do it then.

https://www.sendspace.com/file/ztl7fh

then once saved you then saved it as a csv file and insert it using the TransferTool_1.1.4 but don't worry about that, just give the excel a try.

Can't seem to download it, got error (The download link has been updated (error: #12). Got this a lot actually with things posted here, is there a setting wrong in my browers or?

Be happy to provide some excels with a lot of players in the format suggested. And how do you do it when player has more than one position? Like a lot of players have Attacking Midfielder and Forward.

I find with send space, i just have to click on it a few times, first you get a stupid page pop up, close that then try again.

Yeah it has all the positions so you just put 15 18 or 20 or whatever you desire.

I have this wierd attraction Seiko of Hong Kong, they must have had big bucks in 84.

The squad is shaping up nicely, put the manager in.

Can next person put Andy Kennedy & Dave Mitchell of Rangers on loan to them please, maybe 6 months?

Heading back to Holland to look for more players.

How did I miss this dude? https://www.playmakerstats.com/player/l ... 7?search=1

...wtf, this dude retired for almost a decade then came back and played in 83 & 84! https://www.playmakerstats.com/player/j ... 8?search=1

Think that J.Mulder history is wrong - found this guy with the same name: https://www.transfermarkt.com/jan-mulde ... ler/296496 and dutch wiki mentions the older Mulder retired due to injury and became a columnist :)

And about Seiko: Jan Peters should be a left winger at Espinho from Portugal I believe: https://www.playmakerstats.com/player/j ... 3?search=1, but Transfermarkt has him as a striker and most places mention him at Seiko as well. Did find this though: https://web.archive.org/web/20210722195 ... 5307200001 - shows 10 games/5 goals at Espinho during the 84/85 season :? Bit confusing

Found 3 sites with Mulder playing in 84. Yeah there is 2 Mulders at same time , same club!

Peter’s is defo at Seiko but was a striker.

More players the better I say :D
