Season 93/94 For 0102

(The 1st 3 steps can be skipped if done previously)

1. Install the Game

2. Install the SI Games/3.9.68 Patch

3. Download the Data & Exe -https://www.sendspace.com/file/g7gfsn

4. Open the ZIP file titled CM93 and select Extract All (or whatever program you have installed)

5. Open the new Folder and go to the folder called 'CM93'

6. Paste into your Championship Manager 01-02 folder.

7. Right click on cm093.exe, cm0102ed.exe and A. Enable Compatibility & B. Run As Administrator

https://s6.postimg.cc/jv42rnd4h/runasad ... cf524f.jpg

8. Delete cm0102 exe, you will be using cm93 exe.

9. If it is your only version of 0102 you are good to go, if not perhaps rename the folder from Championship Manager 01-02 to Championship Manager 01-02 93-94 or even Championship Manager 93-94

Apologies, someone on FB group pointed out my update which is brillian and far superior to one on starter kit i didn't include exe so here is data update, exe and harder tatcic files - https://www.sendspace.com/file/hfavn0

Absolutely amazing my childhood was spent playing Champ Manager 93/94 on the Amiga with my mates staying over up until the early hours, just a quick question do I need to download Champ Manager game again for this specific 93/94 data download and have to overwrite my current November 20/21 data? Or can I have a separate Champ 93/94 data download

Thanks for copying this over to here, Cam! I'll add this to the downloads if that's OK with you?

Fantastic work! I have already downloaded this to be used for my story (The Making of a Football Manager) which happens to have 1993 as the first season as manager! Couldn't be better!

You should use multiple installations but NOT overwrite what you have already installed. Here's the post which explains how to easily set up multiple installations:

Just tested it by playing four seasons. Worked like a charm!

What happens if you load the game from the .exe in the installed folder?

I am not really a tech person, I just do updates tbh but I I would only ever use the exe in that exact folder as it needs to match the data folder.

Hi Cam F, could you tell me how to change the name when starting the game, so that instead of Championship Manager 2001/2002 there is a different year for you, I change the year with a patcher, but how to change the name :)

That was Nick (as usual, thanks Sir Nick), i wouldn't worry about that or the year in the exe, the main thing is spending a vast amount of your time backdating/updating a database.

Lots of people on here start of with the idea of creating a db but after editing for a few days/weeks/months they lose interest when the enormity of the task dawns on them.

I know it very well!

Took me 4 years to do 9394, other dbs have taken up vast amounts of my time. Some dbs i have started then given up but go back to again and again, on and off.

Currently i can't be bothered editing and not playing it much either.

You're right, I will also slowly replenish the squad, I thought about the same thing at one point, I have tried for 5 years and I have always given up and now I will focus only on players and coaches. greetings

Goodluck with your project!

Btw. I'm not sure if it's the right place but I just wanted to write how much fun I have right now with this 93/94 DB. I've started in Serie B with Fiorentina, I was surprised that they had Batistuta, Effenberg (and even Toldo!) back then, but we easily gained a promotion to Serie A and in the second season I was supposed to gain a respectable position, but my super trio of strikers Vieri (bought from Ravenna after the non-promotion clause activation), Bierhoff (bought from Ascoli which was relegated to Serie C1) and Batistuta helped me to reach the 4th position. The group phase in the Champions League was tough and losing two first matches against Real Madrid and Aston Villa didn't help, but then again, we were lucky enough to clinch to the 2nd position, although we were better just by one goal than Real!

So to sum up, thank you once again Cam F for 4 years of your tremendous work! :D

Sorry my one is now a mish mash of bits I have done in 0001 version but not corrected bits and would take ages to right it.

I am sure Mark was adding it to downloads, perhaps check there or someone else could upload.

Well, with Nick and his patch with so many options, I eventually started a new save in this version of the game.

This is my Juventus team on my second season. Milan won the league and the cl in the first season. I lost both on my fault as drew too much in the league (only lost it by 2 points) and doing some tactical errors on the CL.

I'm now confident I have a squad for many years and eventually will top Milan and bring the CL trophy back to Turin.

Well and the best part is that the majority of this squad was assembled on free transfers, ha! Takes a bit of time to build a good shortlist but the benefits we can have from that are immense. Besides Maradona and Vieri I think, the rest was all on free transfers for this second season.
Of course I won't continue like this otherwise it's a bit unrealistic. The priorities now are to bring quality youngsters and a good GK for the future!

Baldini has developed better than Cannavaro. Fabio is still on the reserves to develop as I see him as the natural heir to Julio Cesar when I eventually sell him. Moller is more difficult as the talent upfront is immense! But he's doing well with the opportunities he has been given!
