I think with Pickford he's one of them that either has a blinder or can gaff quite a bit - not easy to maybe work out CM att wise!

Pickford was overpowered, then we did give him a bit of a pasting... perhaps too much of a pasting!

I have (after the preview save was issued) made some changes to him to put him somewhere in the middle.

I think you hit Pickford well at the Nov.20 update. Kept his place in the England squad for some years but wasn't a top 3 goalie in the league

Aston Villa

DOF Jesus Garcia Pitarch left the club at the end of last season.
Frederik Leth joined the club as Scout from FC Copenhagen in February 2021.
Physio John Hartley became Head Physio at Derby Country in December 2020. Replaced by Steve Polley promoted from the u23s.
Scout James Beaumont has left the club, replaced by David Stewart promoted from the u23s.
Neil Cutler is missing as the first team goalkeeping coach. He should replace Mark Harrison who's involvement is purely u23s.
Richard O'Kelly is Assistant Manager, not Craig Shakespeare. O'Kelly was Dean Smith's no.2 at Walsall and Brentford too.
Jaden Philogene-Bidace signed a 4-year contract this month.
Lovre Kalinic contract expires this summer, not in 3 years time.
Oliwier Zych should have a longer contract, he only joined in September 2020.
6 Goalkeepers in the first team? Sinisalo and Zych should be demoted to u23s with Mungo Bridge, Callum Rowe and Jake Walker promoted instead.
Wesley and Tom Heaton are no longer injured.
Bertrand Traore should be rated 15 as a right midfielder.
John McGinn should be rated no more than 14 in anchor midfield.
Ezri Konsa's current ability requires a boost. He's performed more consistently than Mings for the past 12 months and Engels rated higher hasn't had a sniff.
Villa Park's maximum attendance is: 42,785.

Thanks for your effort and the update.

Do you mean Joakim Mähle? (Joakim Maehle).

I have never seen him play DC, is he playing that in Atalanta? In the Champions League tie versus Real Madrid he was RB.

He should have 20 in RB, 20 in WB, 18 in LB, 10 in DC, 18 in DM (not DMC), 14 in MR, 14 in ML. Maybe increase his PA a bit? very promising young player, he starting as a LB for Denmark right now.

But a simple google search actually tells us that he is eligible to play for Poland. I think that the dual passport is a great solution to that.

Ale Tolosana wrote: Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:58 pm Hi, guys! First ever comment for me :)

I got hooked again with CM0102 in 2020, after maybe a decade or more of forgetting about this incredible game and was amazed at your truly excellent work, so thank you all. You are amazing!

Wish I could do more, but I've been overworked for the last months so at the moment I can only help with changes for my team in Argentina, San Lorenzo de Almagro.

San Lorenzo >> Argentina

From Youth Team
Francisco Rivadeneira (GK) >> 19/05/2000 >> Determined and agile, from what I've heard, but I haven't seen him play, to be honest
Siro Rosané (DMF) >> 07/06/2000 >> Promising player, good at tackling and marking and elegant when he has the ball, a bit like Banega or Gago
Francisco Galván (SC) >> 16/07/1999 >> Tall, strong pivot >> Had an injured knee some years back, may be recurring

Suggested Changes
Marcelo Andrés Herrera >> Known as Andrés Herrera
Francisco Flores >> Promising player, I’d suggest at least PA 100
Luis Sequeira >> Can and has played as AM

Transfers/Loans IN
Jalil Elías >> Purchased from Godoy Cruz for Euro 1.7 mill
Yéison Gordillo >> Purchased from Deportes Tolima for Euro 1.4 mill
Lucas Melano >> Purchased from Atletico Tucumán for 800k
Franco Troyansky >> Purchased from Union for Euro 1.6 mill
José Devecchi > Back from loan at Audax Italiano

Transfers/Loans OUT
Efmamjjasond González > Nickname: Efmamj González > On loan at All Boys until 12/2022
Lucas Menossi > On loan at Tigre until 06/2023
Ramón Arias > Nickname: Cachila Arias > Sold to Universidad de Chile for Euro 475 k

Also, I would suggest to increase the PA of Adolfo Gaich, former San Lorenzo player, now at Benevento. I think he could be the next Batistuta, but only time will tell. We all know how that can go. How many "Next Messi"s have been heralded in the last 15 years? I lost count already.

Anyway, thanks again and I hope I can help with other stuff now and then (been working on an Argentinian commentary file with VAR for a while, but it always seems to need a new tweak. It could be my OCD, though).

anderskofod wrote: Sun Mar 28, 2021 7:07 pm First of all thanks for an amazing job!

I have some changes to Danish players.

Robert Skov has 20 in set pieces but only 3 in corners and 10 in crossing. I would suggest 15-16 crossing and 15-17 corners.
He can also play left back and wing back but only in the left side.
I would suggest 13 in left back and 14 in wing back.

I have some positional change suggestions for F.C Copenhagen:

Pep Biel needs to have 20 in AMC, 18 MC, 16 AMR, 15 MR, 14 ML and 20 in free rolle and 15 in ST.

Mohammed Daramy needs to have 18 in ST and 20 in AML and 20 in AMR. 15 in ML and 15 in MR.

Nicolaj Thomsen must have 18 in AML and 20 in AMC, 18 in ML and 18 in MC.

Nicolai Boilesen is finally back to his best. His current ability could be increased a bit.

Victor Kristiansen has broken through in this season as an alternative to the left back. He has got in front of Bryan Oviedo in the pecking order at FC Copenhagen and has a great future ahead of him.
He is a Danish U19 international. He is a strong player, (strength 15) great crosser (14), decent marker (11) and good tackler (14), ca. 100, pa 145

Jonas Wind has emerged as one the brightest prospects in Danish football, and you have already found out about that but he is not just a striker as he tends to drop deep and play a deep lying kind of striker / false 9 / no.10.
He is not the fastest striker but is a big striker with a silky touch and great vision for the game.
He should have 20 in ST, 18 in AMC and 16 in free role.
He is the Danish national teams 1. striker in front of Kasper Dolberg at the moment. Dolberg has had corona twice and has his appendicitis removed but Wind is still better than him at the moment.

Stat changes:
Acceleration 13, pace 14, first touch 18, passing 16/17, creativity 17, flair 16, off the ball 16, finishing and heading should be as it is, penalties 20, big matches 18, consistency 16. He should also has his current ability and potential increased. At least so he is better than Dolberg.

Brøndby has been doing a great job in the Danish League and are at the moment no.1 (to my big regret) and some of their players this season has been Morten Frendrup, Mikael Uhre and Jesper Lindstrøm.

Morten Frendrup is a hard tackling, tough box-to-box player. He is a Danish U19 international and plays every minute for Brøndby.
Mikael Uhre is their top scorer. He is lightning fast and strong as well. Not the best finisher but best season for him this year.
Jesper Lindstrøm has been their revelation this season. He got the award as best player in autum 2020. He is a great dribler, decent finisher and has a deadly long shot. He has also been capped once for the Danish national team and could maybe be sold to a top 5 league if he continues his development.

I think the save game / .exe that was uploaded is on a super fast play mode to allow testing. It's not suitable to actually try to play, except in holiday mode.

Oxford United

Jack Stevens - remove loan to Chippenham Town. Currently first choice GK ahead of Simon Eastwood
Eddie Cavanagh - whereabouts unknown, last seen at North Leigh in November 2019 but not there now
Robert Atkinson (change FN to Rob) - Left footed
John Mousinho - likely to retire EOS and very much a backup now. Downgrade reputation/CA substantially so he is well behind Moore and Atkinson, and slightly behind McNally. Not really much point having Portuguese 2nd Nat.
Conor Fagan - no idea who this is!
Kyran Lofthouse - remove loan to Woking, remove D from position
Jamie Hanson - D/DMRC, has played a fair bit at DR
Cameron Brannagan - should be a starter, listed for loan in saved game so rep needs increasing relative to Liam Kelly
Malachi Napa - make loan to Woking a permanent transfer
Olamide Shodipo - no need for English 2nd Nat
Joel Cooper - AM/FL
Matty Taylor - SC, first choice SC ahead of Sam Winnall
Owen James - released in May 2020, whereabouts unknown
Slavi Spasov - remove loan to Woking

Karl Robinson is gaining a bit of a Ranieri-esque 'tinkerman' reputation with the amount of rotation he is using this season, so it is a bit tricky to be specific about line-ups. Generally (fitness allowing) a best XI may look something like below (*including star players). But there is a lot of interchanging in the midfield, particularly with James Henry often playing central and Shodipo, Kelly, Agyei and Lee all potentials to play on either wing. The back 4 is settled when fitness allows, Gorrin is probably only a fraction ahead of Hanson and McGuane, McGuane can also play ahead of the DMC, and Leon Chambers-Parillion is breaking through now and is the best young prospect in the squad. Matty Taylor is unquestionably the first-choice SC ahead of Sam Winnall and then Dan Agyei. Elliot Lee has generally played on the right side of the front three when starting games.

Code: Select all

             Stevens

Long Moore(c) Atkinson* Ruffels

              Gorrin

      Brannagan Sykes

Henry* Barker
             Taylor*

Players missing
Michael Elechi (10/10/2001) DL. Mainly playing in the U21 side but half a changce he may feature at some point soon due to injuries to the two starting fullbacks
Joe Grayson - loan from Blackburn Rovers EOS
Gatlin O'Donkor (14/10/04) SC. Became club's youngest ever player earlier in the season. U18 and U21 player

-----

Unrelated to all of the above, I think the Olympics and European Championships history needs to be brought forward 4 years as there is no 2000 winners in an unpatched game.

Would recommend Chelsea's FG1 colour is reverted to White. The current Blue 1 will be almost impossible to read, and it is only used as trim on the kit anyway, whereas they use white socks.
Torquay United should have FG1 colour of Blue 3, not Blue 1.

Joel Randall (Exeter City) is left footed
River Allen (Tiverton) to Plymouth Parkway
Alex Fletcher (Tiverton) to Bath City
Ian Sampson (Tiverton) delete
Michael Peck (Tiverton) remove DM, he is DC only
John Clarkson (Tiverton manager) delete
Jake Wannell (Taunton) D/MRC, primarily MC
Scott Laird (Weston-s-Mare) D/MLC - played most of his pro career as DL but last 2 years at Weston has played MC

Hello there,

first time giving my suggestion :)

Hajduk

Marko Livaja contract expires 30.6. 2021 , istead of 1.5.2023
Mijo Caktas - got suspended from playing for Hajduk (internal issue about contract) from 18.2.2021 till 30.6.2021 .-- so maybe add suspense like Alvaro Recoba for realism during that time? or similar. Also would increase his stats - one of the better players in Croatian league, but would lower loyalty from 17 to 5.
Lovre Kalinic contact with Aston Villa expires 30.6. 2023 . So that is correct in game, atleast according to Transfermarket. Dont know which resource is saying it expires 2021?

Dinamo Zagreb
Komnen Andric is loaned to Fk Ufa till Jun 1. 2021 , instead of Varaždin
Kevin Theophile-Catherine and Rasmus Lauritsen - would increase their defeding stats a bit. They only conceded 1 goal in 6 games of Europa league. They improved their defending since last year for sure. In my opinon.

Lokomotiva Zagreb

Sammir is free agent

Gorica

Joey Suk -- injury , Fracture of lower leg -- estimate atleast 6 months

Lovre Kalinic contact with Aston Villa expires 30.6. 2023 . So that is correct in game, atleast according to Transfermarket. Dont know which resource is saying it expires 2021?

Maybe they mean the loan contract?

Guys, I'm gonna be honest, I spent nearly 3 hours checking the slovenian teams and writing up any changes for the Slovenian league, and when I pressed on submit the website realised that it wants me to sign in again and I lost everything :(

Oh well, at least it's a minor non-playable league

Tried that, but the post was blank, I don't know what happened, possibly because I was browsing in a no-history window.
