About Australia rivals, I'd also suggest to swap Uruguay with South Korea. About USA - Cuba with Costa Rica.
I'd keep Uruguay, initially I was going to recommend that be removed as it related to their old qualification path, but if you read up on the history there is some very bad blood.
I chose Korea mainly because they had rivalry even before Socceroos moved to AFC and they belong to the same federation.
Then maybe swap England for South Korea rather than England for Japan

The Uruguay rivalry goes back a fair way:
This started back in 1974, when Uruguay arrived in Australia to play two friendlies as a send-off before Australia left for Germany to play in the 1974 World Cup.

The first game Australia dominated, and the Uruguay team resorted to dirty, aggressive play. Socceroos manager Rale Rasic said, “they did not play rough or hard, but dirty.” The match ended in 0-0 but that was only the warm up to a tumultuous second match at the SCG, where Luis Garisto brutally karate chopped our star player Ray Baartz in the neck, leaving him gasping for air. Later on in the match, Garisto punched Baartz in the shin as well.

In one of the bravest performance in Socceroos history, Baartz recovered from the assault, scored a goal and created an assist in a 2-0 victory over Uruguay. However the day after he woke up unable to move his arms and leg. The karate chop hit his carotid artery, causing it to swell up and stopping blood flow to his brain, giving him a stroke.

Baartz was in a coma for two days and although he recovered, he was told he should never play football again, missing out on the 1974 World Cup.

Now I understand - so just replace England with Japan. I wish we can add more rivals. :D

The error bothers me every time he gives me a report as my assistant
Sorted this, gooooooood spotttttt :)
And while he's mentioned, he should also have Swedish as a fluent language. He speaks probably better Swedish than Finnish based on how I've heard him speak Finnish

First of all, thanks for your work on updates, great job indeed!
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Gabriel Martinelli plays for the Italian national team in the latest updates, although he already played for Brazil U-23.

Not specific, but if you want to have a rival for Surinam, then it is Curaçao.

Has anyone been able to successfully get a good run at this update, tried it several times, deleted/re-installed but furthest I can get is about a season and a half before it crashes?

If you are using a patch to change the start year, start in 2020/21. 2021/22 doesn't work

Yes, 11,041 downloads would suggest that at least one person has managed to get it working.

Would suggest you go through the installation instructions again as you may have missed a step or configured the wrong settings (especially if using a patch like Dermotron said).

History for year 2000 in European Football Championship and Olympic Games and Ocenia Nation Cup are missing. They shall be there like 3.9.68 original database. This can cause some issues for international tournaments and for other start years.
