Problems after moving save files

Problems after moving save files

Hi to everyone,

I played this came many years ago (around 15 years ago) and one week ago i installed it once again and I felt in love once again... so many hours spend again! Pure pleasure :D

But, my issue is: my save file is not working on other pc (at work :D). It was working 3 days ago (on other PC). Still working propely on my main pc at home. I managed to copy my save file (around 250MB), move to laptop and play it smoothly. After weekend and about 2 seasons more on save, I moved updated save to work again (to continue play) and nothing works. Game stops at ''game data loading'' right after opening save file. Sometimes go through but every single click on history button of any player, guide to crash.

At home and at work, i use basic game, without patches or anything. window mode. big database. Since last time when save was working on othe pc, i played maybe 2 seasons.

Anyone have any idea what is happening here? Thanks for help in advance.

Only thing I can think of is to make sure on your work PC, your will need to run the program as administrator and enable compatibility, if your work has restricted this they you may be doomed

Hi, thanks for idea. I use my laptop at work, is not limited with any limitations. I tried to copy whole game from house PC to other laptop, and it worked yesterday. Something is missing on my ''at work'' laptop. But strange, because it was working few days ago.

You don't need to copy anything between computers. Just have the whole installation folder (which includes your save games) on a USB stick, and run the game from there.
