Member of the Month - April 2023

I did not realise that my attempt at this last week got lost during forum problems...

At the beginning of each month, a new thread will appear where members can put forward their nominations for who they think have been an integral part of the community in the previous month. Who will you be nominating?

Please put forward ONE nomination and why you feel that particular member should be named 'Member of the Month'.

Nominations can be for a number of activities ranging from scouting for the update teams, writing a story, running competitions, releasing a popular download or even just helping to 'Keep the Game Alive' by being a regular poster.

After a few days, the nominations are then put to a vote to the community where the winner will receive unique status as 'Member of the Month'. It should go without saying that you cannot vote for yourself!

I concur.

The man has a job, a son, a wife and he takes care of this website which is home to all our hearts.

He deserves each and every accolade we can give him!

I agree. But , I think that some of us should retire from MoM

I mean , Mark does not need to be voted and our votes , actually. He is always MoM.

I nominated HaroldFinch... but clearly the post got deleted when the site was down.... was this Mark's ploy all along to win?

HaroldFinch for general contribution, helping tech support, chatbox... and some epic put downs to people coming with attitude i've got a lot of time for.

Still handles a lot of the Start Kit support queries and some. I know there are many others but the people who help out in Tech Support really deserve more love tbh... 20 year old game on newer kit, lots of people struggle - without Tech Support not nearly as many people would still be playing.

It was an easy 'Mark' vote this month for me, given his work load. Also fair to give a shout out to those on the SB who have repeated themselves several times in redirecting people
