Of course, just don't blow your budget on one player. Build your squad up slowly and you'll build your cash up eventually.

My advice would be to ensure you only buy players who will retain or improve their value.

Okay I put out some bids and got this in return just now:

"The deal for (Name player) of Free Agent has collapsed as one of the clubs involved in the deal has had a change in management"

Think you can only sign players that are supposed to be at your club?

I've not had any issues signing players, btw. Just brought in 32 players and still have just over 5m left in the bank

Admittedly, they are not particularly good players just yet but you've got to play the game and be sensible with the cash to start with. Those at the big teams will start making money through gate receipts, etc anyway. I won't have that luxury at TP Mazembe

I made some offers today myself and they didn't "bounce" like the previous ones dit. No clue as to why though.

I'm a big fan of Versus Mode, as I use it as a way to simulate my tournaments and monitor matches. I wrote a separate thread about one of them, and you can visit this page. So I was looking forward to its launch today. Unfortunately, these simulations were completely dependent on the ability to resign after adding managers, teams, and a match. Previously, I would select two teams, resign, and then add a new manager to watch the match. In the new Versus mode, this is unfortunately no longer possible. After selecting teams, you can resign - or, better said, relinquish control - via the game status screen (I used to do this via the manager screen), but unfortunately, the game will no longer accept this. You need to regain control of one of the teams (and thus manage in a match, which I don't want). Otherwise, the game won't advance. It is also impossible to add a manager to watch the match to act as a neutral manager.

Looks like me and GFRay were both forcibly resigned. I've logged back in and discovered all those talents I'd bought have now been sold.

We do need to try and get more managers involved. To have only 4 at the most is ridiculously poor!
